ORIXA

Orixa is a spirit that reflects the manifestations of Olodumare, the Creator. The originally African spiritual and religious system kept basic understandings of Paganism, although it had been slightly altered by the overwhelming  Christian influence. Out of the existing several varieties of Orixa the stongests are Candomble and Umbanda.

The origin of the tradition is traced back to the West-African Yoruba people who practiced the channelling between people and Gods and used Axe to help them with everyday living and guide them through difficulties. Axe is the force that is in everything. It is a power that makes things happen. The Orixa pays considerable attention to encoded organic energies, the Ota-s. These fascinating entities carry the gnosis that we do need to discover and understand. That makes up the life search of the people following this extraordinary spiritual force.

The basic course has 12 levels, one weekend day/monthly.   Fees are: £95.-/occasion or £900 in advance.
